MangoTalk GUIDE
How New Creators, Including Those in Thailand, Can Prepare a Topic for Their First Live Session
A practical guide to preparing one main topic, short questions, safe boundaries, and a closing line so you can keep your first live conversation flowing without pressure. Thailand is only today’s rotating featured region; eligibility to apply and the availability of features, service access, and settlements must be checked separately for each country.
Focus on keeping the conversation going, not putting on a perfect show
Today’s rotating featured region is Thailand. This does not mean that creator applications, service access, or settlements are available in Thailand or any other particular country. Check your actual eligibility and available features based on your country of residence, account status, the latest application screen, and current operating policies. If you have passed the review, received approval, and are preparing for your first live session, choose one main topic that you can explain comfortably instead of bringing up many subjects at once. Food, music, small weekday habits, or a phrase you recently learned are approachable choices that make it easy for people meeting you for the first time to join in.
Make a topic card with three sections: opening, conversation, and closing
For example, if your topic is “A favorite meal in my neighborhood,” you could open with: “Hello. Today I’d like to tell you about one Thai dish I enjoy and when I usually eat it.” Then ask an open question such as, “What do people where you live eat on a busy day?” If the conversation pauses, restart it with one detail: taste, ingredients, when people eat it, or a memorable meal. Close with something you can genuinely follow through on, such as: “I’ll look up the names of the foods you shared before our next conversation. Thank you for joining me.” AI translation can help people communicate across languages, but confirm important details—such as food names, allergies, dates, and promises—again in short, clear sentences.
Checks for a safe first activity
Before going live, check your camera, microphone, background, and connection. Make sure mail showing your address or another person’s face is not visible by accident. Do not ask viewers for private contact details, an in-person meeting, or payment outside the service, and refuse such requests if you receive them. If uncomfortable or illegal demands continue, end the conversation and use the report and block features. Avoid language that guarantees viewer numbers, gifts, earnings, or the results of future activities.
If you have not yet applied, download the app, sign in, and open your profile or the creator application menu. Follow the instructions shown on the current screen to complete identity verification, upload your own photo, self-introduction, languages used, and introduction video, submit the application, and undergo review. Registration, review, approval, and activity after approval are separate stages. Applying does not guarantee approval. MangoTalk is a service for adults aged 20 or older, and additional requirements in your country of residence may apply. Country-specific eligibility, service access, available features, and settlement availability are not guaranteed.
